Nightguard Or Nighttime Dental Appliance

When to contact the office

  • Your appliance does not fit.
  • Your appliance is extraordinarily uncomfortable, even after smoothing the edges yourself with a nail file.
  • You are ready for a replacement – lost, damaged, or worn.

Care Instructions

  • Wear your new dental appliance diligently every night.
  • It’s new – you have to get used to it.
  • The first two weeks are important to establish a routine.
  • Brush daily with toothpaste – inside and out.
  • 1-2x weekly soak for 15min with Retainer Brite or similar and rinse.
  • Do not leave it by the edge of the sink, nightstand, near pets, or kiddos.
  • The material is very strong, but will not survive many ‘drops’.
  • Bring your appliance with you to all future check-ups for evaluation or any necessary adjustments.
